As CMO, the vastly experienced executive will lead the blockchain platform’s global marketing and communications team, focusing on brand development via influencer marketing, strategic narratives, sponsorships and partnerships.

She will report to Sean Ford, the interim CEO at the Layer-1 blockchain network, according to the announcement.

Commenting on the appointment, Ford said:

“With an extensive track record of proven success in global communications and marketing across the corporate, agency and UN development world, Michele will continue to strengthen Algorand’s profile as a leading provider of Web3 infrastructure.”

Quintaglie’s experience across the corporate world includes the role of SVP and Head of Communications at Fidelity Asset Management, and SVP and Global Head of Communications for Visa. She also recently worked with United Technologies, serving as the company’s Head of External Communications. The company later became Raytheon Technologies Corp.
